Words of Change: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at The New School

On February 6, 1964 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered a speech at The New School entitled The Summer of Our Discontent. To honor this and the 50th Anniversary of Dr. King's death, we invite you to a performance of this historic speech on the very stage where it was delivered by Dr. King. The text and themes from his speech bear a striking similarity to modern-day events. Co-sponsored by The New School and Project1VOICE in partnership with the Nth Degree Series: Creative Minds Creating Change.
