The composer and conductor leads the Distinguished Concerts Youth Singers in a family friendly evening of music and interactive entertainment featuring original compositions, world premiere works, and rearrangements of classical pieces such as Lascia Ch'io Pianga and Panis Angelicus.

Vocal Colors

DCINY presents Vocal Colors as a celebration of choral arts. Highlights include composer and conductor Alexander L'Estrange leading the Distinguished Concerts Singers International in his original work Zimbe! Conducted by Matthew Melendez, the Great Bend Chorale performs the world premiere of the group's commissioned work Borders by composer John Muehleisen. Director Kurt Eckhardt leads The Newtown High School Wind Ensemble in a fresh, unique program of instrumental music.

The Music of Pepper Choplin and Mary McDonald

DCINY presents the music of Pepper Choplin and the music of Mary McDonald. Maestro Jonathan Griffith leads the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and Distinguished Concerts Singers International with Mary McDonald (DCINY composer-in-residence) on piano. Conductor Miran Vaupotić returns to the DCINY concert series for a performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 played by Dmitry Ishkhanov on piano.

Calling All Dawns

DCINY presents Grammy Award-winning conductor and composer Christopher Tin and the Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and Distinguished Concerts Singers in Calling All Dawns. Jonathan Griffith, DCINY's principal conductor, leads the choir and orchestra in Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass. Christer Løvold directs the Swiss Gospel Singers and Friends.
