We are protesting Riverkeeper for shutting down two gigawatts of zero-emission electricity at Indian Point - double of all the electricity generated by all solar and wind facilities in all of NY State combined!
Without Indian Point, dirty powerplants in Queens, Manhattan, and Hudson, Orange, and Dutchess counties will pollute more: more particulate matter = more people getting sick, and more greenhouse gases = worsening of climate change and ocean acidification.
