Spies or Political Scapegoats? Rosenberg Trial & Execution

In 1951 two Americans, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, were convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage by a jury in the Southern District of New York for their role in providing the Soviet Union with classified information about building an atomic bomb. In one of the most controversial episodes of the Cold War, the Rosenbergs were executed for their crimes.

The movie Daniel will be screened at 4pm prior to the conversation at 6:30pm. Reception to follow the 6:30pm event
