Portraits of Healing: Tyler's Suite and the Music of Ola Gjeilo

Composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked. Pippin) brings together today’s most prolific voices in music to tell the story of Tyler Clementi, a gay teen who died by suicide during his first weeks of college after being bullied by his roommate. The music of Norwegian Composer Ola Gjeilo conducted by James Meaders will include the NY Premiere of Gjeilo's Dark Night of the Soul and Luminous Night of the Soul. The set will also include Gjeilo's well known work, The Ground from his Sunrise Mass.
