Pond Life Pond Life! Exploring the microbial wilderness of NYC | | Sally Warring PhD is a biologist and documentarian based in New York City. Sally has documented the microbial wildlife of New York City’s ponds, waterways and wetlands. These unicellular organisms are intrinsically fascinating and visually stunning; they are architects, builders, travelers, parasites, hunters, scavengers, and prey; they have sex lives and mating rituals; they build communities and they go it alone. Her talk will showcase some of these charismatic creatures that exist all around us.
