Art and Energy

Art and science achieve the seemingly impossible, picturing the energy of the universe by making the invisible visible. Join Dr. Charles A. Riley Ph.D., director of the Nassau Museum of Art, and visual artist Scott McIntire, for a dialogue revealing the ways art permits us to understand the beauty of energy. The star of a recent exhibition curated by Dr. Riley, McIntire manages to weave, subtly, issues of sustainability with a powerful aesthetic message in his “Energy Field” series of paintings.
