Event Me offers microtargeting for non-event marketers

We are using over 1,100 criteria to provide our highly personalized event publishing service to our 40,000 subscribers throughout the US. It is those detailed data points that enable us to offer the most targeted email marketing channel imaginable to non-event marketers, as well. Not only can you target by zip code, month/year of birth and gender, but by any of the criteria listed on this page - at no extra charge! Please note that we only include our 15,000 most active, NYC-area subscribers in this program at this time.

Two weekly advertising options

We present your advertisement as an exclusive sponsorship to our subscribers:

1) Either we send a dedicated email to your target audience and you control the subject line and the copy (from "Event Me Sponsor <invite@eventme.com>").

2) Or we insert display ads from you to separate the event listings in a subscriber's personalized calendar email (sample). The latter guarantees exposure to everyone in your audience who opens his or her calendar email, but you don't control the subject line. You are also less flexible in the ad dimensions: 598px wide and 280 (for the top ad) and 80px (for all others) high. 

In either case, you will not share your email recipient's attention with competing non-event sponsors. We send our calendar emails on Thursdays and, to the same subscribers, the dedicated sponsorship emails on Fridays around 2pm.

Two pricing options

The minimum price to reach a single subscriber is $0.10 for either advertising option.

If two or more sponsors want to reach out to the same subscriber in the same publication, only the sponsor offering the highest price (bid) prevails. Should more than one sponsor offer the same highest bid, the sponsor who has placed his or her bid first prevails.

You can secure the maximum reach of your target audience by bidding $0.15 per subscriber. Of course, we can offer this audience guarantee only to a single sponsor per publication type and week and you might have to reserve the spot weeks in advance.

Campaign setup process

Please contact us at info@EventMe.com with the following information:

• your targeting criteria (geographic area, age, gender, background, interests, etc. - see below for options)
• your bid
• your campaign's time frame
• your campaign creative (corresponding to your desired advertising option, html & text version)

We will get back to you with samples of your message, the total size of the target audience that matches your criteria, and the likely number of subscribers reached in case your campaign is going to be outbid on part of your target audience by another advertiser. You can increase your bid anytime until the respective mailing deadline in order to increase your actual reach. We will also let you know when your campaign's reach shrinks significantly because of another advertiser's new bid.

Tip: By setting up your campaign to run over several weeks you can increase its reach without increasing your bid. Our campaign management will ensure that you won't be reaching out (and paying for) the same subscribers multiple times. However, please understand that you cannot change your bid after your campaign's first mailing.

Targeting options

No other email list offers such a deep segmentation as ours. And because we want not only our events but also the advertising messages that support our service to be as relevant as possible to our subscribers, we are not charge you to use multiple criteria to narrow down your list to closely match your ideal target group.
