Saving Jamaica Bay - Documentary Film Screening

Please join us for an educational evening highlighting one of New York's most important environmental resources. GrowNYC's former Director of Environmental Education, Mike Zamm, will be in attendance to introduce the film and lead discussion.

The documentary tells a story of how the community came together to fight government inaction in restoring Jamaica Bay, the largest open space in New York City. The film is narrated by Susan Sarandon and defines the importance of citizen action and urban nature.
